Core Ultrasonic Tester

Mainly used to simulate the effects of fluid properties (oil, water, free gas, adsorbed gas) changes and gas saturation changes under reservoir conditions on wave propagation (seismic attributes), as well as the laboratory measurement and calculation of longitudinal wave velocity, shear wave velocity, elastic modulus, and attenuation coefficient of rock samples. (1) Using the ultrasonic pulse transmission method to measure the propagation time of longitudinal or shear waves along the length of the rock sample, calculating the longitudinal and shear wave velocities of the rock sample. (2) Measuring and comparing the changes in longitudinal and shear wave amplitudes with the length of the rock sample or calculating the attenuation coefficients of longitudinal and shear waves based on the relative amplitude changes between the tested rock sample and reference samples.
