Core Resistivity Meter
The rock resistivity measuring instrument is a core displacement experimental device used to measure rock resistivity under simulated high-temperature and high-pressure formation conditions. Since the rock framework and the oil and gas in the reservoir are non-conductive, the rock conducts electricity through the movement of various ions dissolved in formation water. Therefore, by measuring the resistance at both ends of the core under different water saturation levels in the laboratory, and then combining the core size parameters, the rock resistivity parameters are calculated according to Archie's formula.
