On September 25, 2025, the 35th National Natural Gas Academic Conference officially kicked off in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. The conference was jointly hosted by the Natural Gas Professional Committee of the China Petroleum Society and the Sichuan Provincial Petroleum Society.

Centered around the core topic of "Technological Advances in Natural Gas During the 14th Five-Year Plan and Development Prospects for the 15th Five-Year Plan," the conference features keynote speeches, showcases of cutting-edge scientific achievements, and a Youth Science & Technology Roundtable Forum. Through these engaging formats, participants delve into 17 key areas—ranging from natural gas exploration and development to the integration of new energy sources and CCUS technologies—fostering collaborative efforts to unlock new potential for productivity in the energy sector.
