Seepage mechanics is the science that studies the flow laws of fluids within porous media and their applications. Since its establishment, it has been widely applied in conventional oil and gas, shale oil and gas, coalbed methane, groundwater, geothermal energy, nuclear energy, energy storage, CCS/CCUS resource and energy development, as well as in new fields such as water conservancy, hydropower, mining, highway, railway engineering construction, and medicine. Significant progress and development have been made in seepage theory regarding non-Darcy flow, non-Newtonian fluids, non-isothermal conditions, multi-scale, multiphase, multi-field, and multi-medium coupling. With the rapid development of the national economy, oil and gas development has entered the unconventional era, new energy technologies are iterating and upgrading, artificial intelligence technology is rapidly advancing, and large-scale engineering technologies are evolving rapidly, posing new challenges to seepage mechanics.

To promote the exchange of research achievements in seepage mechanics, meet new challenges in its development, and foster scientific and technological innovation in seepage mechanics theory and applications, the 18th National Academic Conference on Seepage Mechanics will be held from August 21 to 24, 2025 (registration on the 21st, departure on the 24th) in Langfang City, Hebei Province. 1. Conference Reports and Abstract Submission

This conference does not plan to publish proceedings. Representatives preparing thematic reports, discussions, or poster presentations should submit their report abstracts by August 5, 2025. Abstracts should include the following information: title, author names, affiliations, positions and titles, highest education, main research directions, contact information, email, etc.

2. Full Paper Submission

Participants may submit their conference papers to other journals simultaneously. 3. Registration and Payment Methods

Online Registration and Payment: Please scan the official conference QR code to register and pay for the conference. After successful payment, representatives can fill in invoice information in the personal center of the system to apply for an electronic invoice for the conference registration fee. Invoice application period: July to August 2025.

Email Registration: See attachment. You may choose either online registration or email registration. Send the receipt to the email address shenliu2025hw@163.com.

On-site Payment: Please scan the official conference QR code in advance to register for the conference and fill in personal information. On the day of registration, pay at the registration desk using a POS machine. Afterwards, fill in the invoice information within the system's specified time to apply for an electronic invoice for the conference registration fee.

4. Refund Matters

If your schedule changes and you cannot attend the conference as planned, you may apply for a refund of the conference registration fee in writing or by email to the conference secretariat before August 10. The transfer fee incurred for the refund shall be borne by the representative. Refunds will not be processed after August 10.

11. Conference Accommodation and Transportation

1. Conference Accommodation

The accommodation hotels for this conference are provided by the conference service company cooperating with the conference (Beijing Kechuang Zhifa Technology Co., Ltd.). Representatives are requested to book by scanning the conference QR code to access the official hotel booking module and make reservations themselves. To facilitate attendees, shuttle buses will be provided during the conference period between the main venue and the Arcadia International Hotel outside the main venue. It is recommended that participants stay at hotels arranged by the conference organizing committee.

August is a peak season for conferences and tourism, and room availability is tight. Representatives who need to book rooms are advised to complete their reservations as soon as possible. If no rooms are available, representatives will need to make their own arrangements.
